Habtamu Alebachew is a lecturer and senior researcher at the college of
Law and Governance, Mekelle University, Ethiopia. He has been lectur-
ing on international relations and international law for more than a
decade. He has participated in several international conferences on Nile
Affairs and presented his research findings. He has a keen interest in the
international legal issues pertaining to the Nile River.
Adrien Bodart holds a Master 2 in Law of Integrated Coastal Zone
Management. He is currently a PhD student and a temporary attaché for
teaching and research at the University of Rennes 1 (France), and is a
member of the Western Institute: Law and Europe (IODE) at that
University. He lectures in environmental law and water law, and teaches,
as a tutorial fellow, European Union law, European internal market law,
international economic law and constitutional law. His doctoral thesis is a
study of the integrated management of groundwater in the European
Union.
José Carlos L. da Silva is a lawyer and retired prosecutor. He obtained
an LLM and PhD in Consumer Law at the Metropolitan University of
Santos (Brazil). He is currently working on his second doctoral thesis,
which focuses on environmental refugees at the Catholic University of
Santos (Brazil). His research interests include biodiversity, biotech-
nology, traditional knowledge and displaced people.
Trevor Daya-Winterbottom combines research and teaching at the
Faculty of Law, University of Waikato, New Zealand, with legal consul-
tancy and practice as a Barrister sole. He holds a BA (Hons) in ...
