Abstract/Description:

The growth of the neoliberal state amid productivity and financial crises has been accompanied by sweeping legal innovations relating to property, trade, investment, rent and criminality as well as an expansion in the mass of written law, in the gaming of legislation and in new regimes of environmental regulation involving new types of nature called ecosystem services. These innovations have reshaped the terrain of oppression on which legal scholars and other activists must locate themselves and coordinate with movements outside the legal profession.
