Free access to (US) Case Law, Free Forms (US), and Legal Internet Guide will prove invaluable for the non-US legal practitioner interested in US materials. Case law coverage includes US State Supreme and Federal Circuit cases from January 1, 1996, and all Supreme Court cases from 1790.
Registration is required in order to access case law material, this is free at present.

Annual Report Gallery (USA) - a directory of US publically listed companies websites (over 2,000 listed here). Some annual reports summaries are included but the major value in this site is the linking to the home pages of companies, where their annual report should be available. Warning the advertising is almost overwhelming, but dispite this a usefull directory.

For those interested in the death penalty response to capital crime a disturbing report from Columbia University Justice Project. The "Liebman Study" examines every every capital conviction and appeal between 1973 and 1995 (nearly 5,500 judicial decisions) - a must for researchers in the area.Criminology.
