Health Information Privacy Code 1994 (NZ) - amendment

Privacy Commissioner (NZ) Health Information Privacy Code 1994 Amendment No 1 (Temporary), 12 July 1994

The 1994 Code, to replace the Health Information Privacy Code 1993, was issued on 28 June 1994. A full report on the new Code will be included in a subsequent issue. This amendment is to correct an error in r10(2), to make it clear that r10 applies to all health information obtained from the commencement of the Privacy Act 1993 (NZ) on 1 July 1993. As the amendment was issued under urgency it will formally expire within 12 months to allow a permanent amendment to be released for consultation.
