Privacy Law and Policy Reporter |
Australian Privacy Commissioner, Kevin O'Connor, recently announced amendments to the Code of Conduct governing credit reporting taking effect from 27 March. The amendments provide circumstances where credit providers may not be obliged to report schemes of arrangement to a credit reporting agency, and create limitations on the time for which records are kept by credit providers relating to disclosures of consumer credit information to other credit providers.
