PLPR's guides to privacy on the Internet

Graham Greenleaf

Privacy Law & Policy Reporter has published on the Internet a guide to privacy resources available in 'cyberspace': the PLPR Privacy Guide to privacy resources available in 'cyberspace': the PLPR Privacy Guide to the Net. It consists of the Australian Privacy Guide, the World-Wide Privacy Guide, and the Privacy Law and Policy Reporter Archive. The PLPR Archive contains the full text of Volume 1, Issues 1-8 at present. The current volume will not be available on the Internet, only issues from previous volumes.

The World-Wide Privacy Guide contains links to privacy legislation in various counties, most significant international privacy agreements, the 'home pages' of data protection agencies in five countries, and decisions of the privacy Commissioners of New Zealand and British Columbia. There are also links to many privacy 'NGOs' such as EPIC and Privacy International, to a number of privacy journals, and to details of coming privacy conferences. The Australian Privacy Guide has more detailed links to Australian resources, including Commonwealth and some state legislation, an analysis of Australia's international privacy obligations, and material in PLPR. NSW Privacy Committee material will soon be available on the Internet.

The Guide is at http://lexsun.law uts.edu.au/~graham/PLPR_guide.html and can also be accessed via AustLII http://austlii.law.uts.edu.au).

Graham Greenleaf, General Editor of PLPR, edits the PLPR Privacy Guide to the Net.
