Disclosure by credit provider

Use of credit reports by a credit provider

A credit provider who gives to a direct marketing organisation the names and addresses of individuals who met credit assessment criteria (determined by reports obtained from a credit reporting agency) 'may risk breaching s 18N' [9.5]. (Comment: There might be breaches of s 18K or s 18L as well.)
