A Bill for

An Act to amend the Liquor Act 2010









The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

1 Name of Act

This Act is the Liquor Amendment Act 2012.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the day after its notification day.

Note The naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3 Legislation amended

This Act amends the Liquor Act 2010.

4 Determination of fees

New section 227 (1A)

insert

(1A) A fee determination for section 42 (Licence—application for renewal) commences—

(a) 3 months after its notification day; or

(b) if the determination provides for a later date or time—on that date or that time.
