Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) A person commits an offence if the person urinates in a public place (other than in a toilet).
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(2) An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
Note Circumstances of sudden and extraordinary emergency is a defence in relation to the offence. See the Criminal Code 2002 , s 41.
