(1) On receipt of the transmission under section 175, the authorised officer shall—
(a) in relation to each ballot paper marked by an Antarctic elector—transcribe the particulars of the elector's marks onto a ballot paper for the relevant electorate; and
(b) seal in an envelope the ballot paper onto which the particulars are transcribed; and
(c) sign the envelope and endorse it to the effect that it contains a ballot paper recording a vote by an Antarctic elector that is to be admitted to the scrutiny for the election; and
(d) send the envelope to the commissioner.
(2) An authorised officer shall not mark a ballot paper under this section in a way that is likely to enable it to be identified as representing the vote of an Antarctic elector.
