Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) If a scrutineer objects to a ballot paper as being informal, the officer conducting the scrutiny shall mark the ballot paper ‘admitted' or ‘rejected' according to the officer's decision to admit or reject the ballot paper.
(2) Subsection (1) shall not be taken to prevent the officer from rejecting a ballot paper as being informal if there is no objection by a scrutineer.
