ELECTORAL ACT 1992 - SECT 188

    (1)     The officer conducting a recount—

        (a)     may, if the officer considers appropriate; and

        (b)     shall, at the request of any scrutineer;

reserve any ballot paper for the decision of the commissioner.

    (2)     The commissioner shall decide whether any ballot paper so reserved is to be admitted or rejected.
