Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) If a candidate for whom eligible votes were cast in an election dies, a payment under this division in relation to the eligible votes cast for the candidate may be made despite the death of the candidate.
(2) If a candidate mentioned in subsection (1) was not endorsed by a party for the election, the payment may be made to the legal personal representative of the candidate.
