ELECTORAL ACT 1992 - SECT 276

If the Assembly passes a resolution referring to the Court of Disputed Elections a question relating to—

        (a)     the eligibility of a person who has been declared elected to be an MLA; or

        (b)     a vacancy in the membership of the Assembly;

the Speaker shall give to the registrar a statement setting out the question referred, together with any documents in the possession of the Assembly that relate to that question.
