"redistribution process"—see section 37.
(2) If the election period for an extraordinary election begins during a redistribution process, no further action shall be taken under this Act in relation to the redistribution until after the election period.
(3) If, in relation to a proposed redistribution, a notice under this part invited a response (however described) to be made within a particular period and that period had not ended when the election period for an extraordinary election begins—
(a) a further such notice shall be given as soon as practicable after the election period; and
(b) this Act applies in relation to any response made in accordance with the firstmentioned notice as if it had been made in accordance with the further notice.
