ELECTORAL ACT 1992 - SECT 46

Objections

    (1)     An objection against a proposal by a redistribution committee must be—

        (a)     in writing; and

        (b)     given to the electoral commission within 28 days after the day the notice mentioned in section 44 (1) (Notification and publication of proposal) is notified under the Legislation Act 2001

in relation to the committee's proposal.

    (2)     The commissioner must make a copy of each objection made under this section available for public inspection.
