Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) Despite any other provision of this Act, a licensed firearms dealer is, for the purposes of any transaction between the dealer and the holder of a corresponding licence, authorised to buy a firearm from the holder of that corresponding licence.
(2) In this section:
"corresponding licence" means an instrument that, in the opinion of the
registrar, is the equivalent of a firearms dealer licence in a place outside
the ACT.
