Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) A person commits an offence if the person repossesses a gaming machine otherwise than in accordance with an approval under section 108.
Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units.
(2) A person commits an offence if—
(a) the person repossesses a gaming machine; and
(b) the person fails to take all reasonable steps to stop the gaming machine being used; and
(c) after repossession of the gaming machine but before its disposal, someone else uses the machine.
Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units
(3) An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
