Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) This section applies if a person's licence, and each authorisation certificate under the licence, is cancelled under this part.
(2) The number of authorisations for gaming machines under the cancelled authorisation certificate is forfeited to the Territory.
(3) The person must dispose of a gaming machine operated under the cancelled authorisation certificate as the commission directs.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
Note The Control Act
, s 23 provides that an authorised officer may enter and
inspect any premises at any reasonable time to do the things mentioned in that
section, including inspecting and removing any gaming equipment the officer
believes on reasonable grounds to be connected with an offence against a
gaming law.
