Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations(1) This section applies to a person who washes a vehicle or other thing in the course of, or incidental to, carrying on a commercial activity.
(2) The person commits an offence if the person allows run-off from the washing to enter a waterway.
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(3) An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
