Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations(1) A person conducting a business or undertaking at a workplace must give the regulator written notice of any change in the information given in a notice under section 403 before the change or as soon as practicable after the person becomes aware of the change.
Maximum penalty:
(a) in the case of an individual—$1 250; or
(b) in the case of a body corporate—$6 000.
Note Strict liability applies to each physical element of each offence under this regulation, unless otherwise stated (see s 6A).
(2) The person must—
(a) keep a copy of the notice given to the regulator while the lead risk work is carried out at the workplace; and
(b) ensure that a copy of the notice is readily accessible to a worker who is likely to be exposed to lead, and the worker's health and safety representative.
