DISCRIMINATION (REMUNERATION AND ALLOWANCES) REGULATIONS (NO. 3 OF 1992)


TABLE OF PROVISIONS

   1.      These Regulations may be cited as the Discrimination (Remuneration and Allowances) Regulations.  
   2.      In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—“the Act” means the Discrimination Act 1991.  
   3.      (1) The Commissioner shall be paid remuneration of $366.00 for each day on which he or she is engaged in holding public hearings for not less than 3 hours.  
   4.      The Commissioner shall be paid an allowance at the rate of $5,000 per year.  
   5.      (1) Subject to subregulation (2), where the Commissioner is, in the performance of his or her functions under the Act, necessarily absent from the Territory, he or she shall be paid travelling allowance in respect of that absence—
