Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsApproved providers have certain responsibilities under Chapter 4. These responsibilities relate to:
(a) the quality of care they provide; and
(b) user rights for the people to whom care is provided; and
(c) accountability for the care that is provided, and the basic suitability of their * key personnel.
Failure to meet these responsibilities can lead to the imposition of sanctions
on an approved provider under Part 7B of the * Quality and Safety
Commission Act, which may affect amounts of * subsidy payable to the approved
provider.
