Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Attorney - General may, on behalf of the Commonwealth, intervene in a proceeding before the Federal Court or the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) under this Act.
(2) Where the Attorney - General intervenes in a proceeding in pursuance of this section, the court may, in the proceeding, make such order as to costs against the Commonwealth as the court thinks fit.
(3) Where the Attorney - General intervenes in a proceeding in
pursuance of this section, he or she shall be deemed to be a party to the
proceeding.
