Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A Commissioner shall, in the exercise of his or her functions as a Commissioner, have the same protection and immunity as a Justice of the High Court.
(2) A barrister or solicitor appearing before a Commissioner who
is conducting an inquiry in pursuance of his or her functions under this Act
has the same protection and immunity as a barrister has in appearing for a
party in proceedings in the High Court.
