Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A member of a Financial Services and Credit Panel has, in the performance or exercise of any of the member's functions and powers as a member in relation to a hearing of the panel, the same protection and immunity as a Justice of the High Court.
(2) A barrister, solicitor or other person representing a person at a hearing of a Financial Services and Credit Panel has the same protection and immunity as a barrister in appearing for a party in a proceeding in the High Court.
(3) Subject to this Act, a person who is required by a summons
under subsection 165(1) to appear at a hearing of a Financial Services
and Credit Panel, or a person appearing at a such a hearing, has the same
protection as a witness in a proceeding in the High Court.
