Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) This section applies in relation to premises (other than a conveyance).
(2) A biosecurity officer may, subject to subsection (3), require the premises to be treated in a specified manner.
Note: If the treatment might damage the premises, the owner of the premises must be asked to agree to the treatment (see section 340).
(3) A biosecurity officer must not require the premises to be treated in a manner that the biosecurity officer suspects, on reasonable grounds, is likely to damage the premises, without the written approval of the Director of Biosecurity.
