BROADCASTING SERVICES ACT 1992 - SECT 130V

  (1)   If:

  (a)   an industry standard that applies to participants in a particular section of the industry is registered under this Part; and

  (b)   a person is a participant in that section of the industry;

the person must comply with the industry standard.

Offence

  (2)   A person commits an offence if:

  (a)   the person is subject to a requirement under subsection   (1); and

  (b)   the person engages in conduct; and

  (c)   the person's conduct contravenes the requirement.

Penalty:   1,500 penalty units.

Civil penalty

  (3)   Subsection   (1) is a civil penalty provision.
