CORPORATIONS ACT 2001 - SECT 204C

Consent to act as secretary

  (1)   A company contravenes this subsection if a person does not give the company a signed consent to act as secretary of the company before being appointed.

  (2)   The company must keep the consent.

  (3)   An offence based on subsection   (1) or (2) is an offence of strict liability.
