Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Governor - General may cause writs to be issued for elections of Senators for Territories.
(2) The writs for the elections of Senators for Territories in
accordance with section 43 shall be issued within 10 days from the
expiry of the House of Representatives or from the proclamation of a
dissolution of the House of Representatives.
