Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Registrar must notify a person who makes an application for a departure authorisation certificate of the Registrar's decision on the application.
(2) The notice must be in the approved form and must be given as soon as practicable.

(3) If the Registrar decides to issue the departure
authorisation certificate, the Registrar must, as soon as practicable, give a
copy of the certificate to the person, and to each person to whom a copy of
the departure prohibition order in respect of the person was given under
subsection 72G(4) or (5).
