Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The applicant is entitled, while appearing before the Tribunal, to have another person (the assistant ) present to assist him or her.
(2) The assistant is not entitled to present arguments to the Tribunal, or to address the Tribunal, unless the Tribunal is satisfied that, because of exceptional circumstances, the assistant should be allowed to do so.
(3) Except as provided in this section, the applicant is not entitled, while appearing before the Tribunal, to be represented by another person.
(4) This section does not affect the entitlement of the
applicant to engage a person to assist or represent him or her otherwise than
while appearing before the Tribunal.
