MARITIME POWERS ACT 2013 - SECT 13

    An Australian law applies in relation to a foreign vessel as if the foreign vessel were an Australia n vessel if:

  (a)   an international agreement provides for the law to so apply ; and

  (b)   the country of the vessel's national ity is a party to the agreement.
