Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) In performing its telecommunications functions and exercising its telecommunications powers, the ACMA must have regard to Australia's obligations under any convention of which the Minister has notified the ACMA in writing.
(a) a convention to which Australia is a party; or
(b) an agreement or arrangement between Australia and a foreign country;
and includes, for example, an agreement, arrangement or understanding between
a Minister and an official or authority of a foreign country.
