THERAPEUTIC GOODS ACT 1989 - SECT 42VA

Civil penalty relating to the recall of therapeutic goods because of actual or potential tampering

    A person contravenes this section if the person fails to comply with a requirement under subsection   42V(1) in relation to a supply of therapeutic goods.

Maximum civil penalty:

  (a)   for an individual--5,000 penalty units; and

  (b)   for a body corporate--50,000 penalty units.
