Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations(1) A prosecution in respect of any offence against these Regulations may be commenced at any time within 3 years after the commission of the offence.
(2) For the purposes of subregulation (1), time shall be
deemed not to run during any period after the commission of an offence and
before the institution of proceedings in respect thereof for which the
defendant is outside Australian territory.
