CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS 1988 - REG 5.53

How long must a personal log book be retained?

  (1)   A person commits an offence if the person:

  (a)   is required by subregulation   5.51(1) to have a personal log book; and

  (b)   does not retain the log book for as long as the person holds a balloon flight crew licence or CAR certificate of validation.

Penalty:   50 penalty units.

  (2)   An offence against this regulation is an offence of strict liability.
