FAMILY LAW RULES 2004 - RULE 7.17

When service is taken to have been carried out

                   A document is taken to have been served:

                     (a)  on the date when service is acknowledged;

                     (b)  if served by post to an address in Australia--on the third day after it was posted;

                     (c)  if served by delivery to a document exchange--on the next working day after the day when it was delivered; or

                     (d)  on a date fixed by the court.
