Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated RegulationsA person conducting a business or undertaking who is required to provide health monitoring to a worker must give information about the health monitoring requirements to:
(a) a person who is likely to be engaged to carry out work using, handling, generating or storing a hazardous chemical; and
(b) a worker for the business or undertaking, before the worker commences work using, handling, generating or storing a hazardous chemical.
(a) In the case of an individual--$3 600.
(b) In the case of a body corporate--$18 000.
Note: Section 12F of the Act provides that strict liability
applies to each physical element of each offence under the Act, unless
otherwise stated. The reference in section 12F of the Act includes
these Regulations.
