CORPORATIONS ACT 2001 No. 50, 2001 - SECT 896

Money constituting fidelity fund

The fidelity fund of a securities exchange consists of:

(aa)
in the case of a fidelity fund established before the commencement of this Act—the money, and other property, of which the fund consisted immediately before that commencement; and

(a)
in the case of a fidelity fund established after the commencement of this Act—any amount that is paid to the credit of the fund by the securities exchange on the establishment of the fund; and

(b)
money paid into the fidelity fund as required by paragraphs 902(4)(d) and 904(4)(d); and

(c)
the interest on money invested by the securities exchange under Part 7.8; and

(d)
the interest and profits from time to time accruing from the investment of the fidelity fund; and

(e)
other money paid into the fidelity fund by the securities exchange; and

(f)
money recovered by or on behalf of the securities exchange in the exercise of a right of action conferred by this Part; and

(g)
money paid by an insurer under a contract of insurance or indemnity entered into by the securities exchange under section 917; and

(h)
any other money lawfully paid into the fund.
