FAMILY LAW ACT 1975 No. 53 of 1975 - SECT 36

36. (1) The Governor-General shall cause such Registries of the Court to be
established as he thinks fit.

(2) Unless and until the regulations otherwise provide, the Principal Registry
shall be located in Sydney.
