QANTAS SALE ACT 1992 No. 196, 1992 - SECT 37

37.(1) Neither Qantas nor a Qantas subsidiary is to be taken, for the purposes
of a law other than:

   (a)  this Act; or

   (b)  the Corporations Law; or

   (c)  a law relating to taxation; or

   (d)  a law amended by Part 1 or 3 of the Schedule; to be:

   (e)  a company in which the Commonwealth has a controlling interest; or

   (f)  a company in which the Commonwealth owns a majority of the shares;
        unless a law expressly provides otherwise.

(2) In subsection (1), "law" means:

   (a)  an Act; or

   (b)  regulations or any other instrument made under an Act.
