QANTAS SALE ACT 1992 No. 196, 1992 - SECT 39

39.(1) Australian Airlines is not taken for the purposes of a law to have been
established by or under an Act unless a law expressly provides otherwise.

(2) To avoid doubt, it is declared that subsection (1) does not affect the
operation of the Australian Airlines (Conversion to Public Company) Act 1988
or any other law before the commencement of this section.

(3) In subsections (1) and (2):

"law" means:

   (a)  an Act of the Commonwealth or of a State or a Territory; or

   (b)  regulations or any other instrument made under such an Act.
