QANTAS SALE ACT 1992 No. 196, 1992 - SECT 4

4.(1) The Minister for Finance may, by notice in the Gazette, declare a
specified day to be the substantial minority sale day.

(2) The day to be specified in the notice under subsection (1) is the day
that, in the opinion of the Minister for Finance, is the first day after the
commencement of this Part on which a substantial minority of voting shares in
Qantas were acquired by a person, or persons, other than the Commonwealth or a
nominee of the Commonwealth.
