THERAPEUTIC GOODS AMENDMENT ACT 1991 No. 204 of 1991 - SECT 3

3. Section 4 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section
substituted:

"4. The object of this Act is to provide, so far as the Constitution permits,
for the establishment and maintenance of a national system of controls
relating to the quality, safety, efficacy and timely availability of
therapeutic goods that are:

   (a)  used in Australia, whether those goods are produced in Australia or
        elsewhere; or

   (b)  exported from Australia.".
