TRADE MARKS ACT 1995 No. 119 of 1995 - SECT 63

Amendment of application for registration of trade mark
63. (1) The Registrar may, at the written request of the applicant or of his
or her agent, amend an application for the registration of a trade mark in
accordance with section 64 or 65.

(2) If:

   (a)  an application for the registration of a trade mark may be amended
        under section 65; and

   (b)  the applicant has not asked in writing that the application be
        amended; the Registrar may, on his or her own initiative but in
        accordance with the regulations, amend the application as necessary to
        remove any ground on which the application could be rejected.
