TRADE PRACTICES ACT 1974 No. 51, 1974 - SECT 167

Judicial notice.
167. (1) All courts shall take judicial notice of-

   (a)  the official signature of any person who holds or has held the office
        of President, Deputy President, member of the Tribunal, Chairman,
        Deputy Chairman, member of the Commission, Registrar or
        Deputy Registrar and of the fact that that person holds or has held
        that office; and

   (b)  the official seal of the Tribunal or of the Commission, if the
        signature or seal purports to be attached or appended to an official
        document.
(2) In this section, "court" includes a Federal Court or a court of a State or
Territory and all persons authorized by law or by consent of parties to
receive evidence.
