TRADE PRACTICES ACT 1974 No. 51, 1974 - SECT 22

Hearing in private in certain circumstances.
22. (1) Where, at a public hearing by the Commission, the Commission is
satisfied that it is desirable to do so by reason of the confidential nature
of any evidence or matter or for any other reason, the Commission may-

   (a)  direct that the hearing or a part of the hearing shall take place in
        private and give directions as to the persons who may be present; or

   (b)  give directions prohibiting or restricting the publication of evidence
        given before the Commission or of matters contained in documents
        lodged with the Commission.

(2) A reference in this Act to a public hearing by the Commission includes a
reference to a hearing by the Commission in respect of which a direction is in
force under paragraph (1) (a).
