TRADE PRACTICES ACT 1974 No. 51, 1974 - SECT 31

31. (1) A person shall not be appointed as a presidential member of the
Tribunal unless he is-

   (a)  a Judge of a Federal Court, not being the High Court or a court of an
        external Territory; or

   (b)  a person who has the status of a Judge of the Court.

(2) A person shall not be appointed as a member of the Tribunal other than a
presidential member unless he appears to the Governor-General to be qualified
for appointment by virtue of his knowledge of, or experience in, industry,
commerce or public administration.
