TRADE PRACTICES ACT 1974 No. 51, 1974 - SECT 33

Remuneration of members of Tribunal.
33. (1) The President shall, if he is not the Chief Justice of the Court, the
Chief Judge of the Australian Industrial Court or the President of the
Australian Conciliation and Arbitration Commission, be paid additional
remuneration at the rate of $2,200 per annum and an additional annual
allowance at the rate of $500 per annum.

(2) A member of the Tribunal other than a presidential member shall be paid
such remuneration as is determined by the Remuneration Tribunal, but, until
that remuneration is so determined, he shall be paid such remuneration as is
prescribed.

(3) Subject to the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973, a member of the Tribunal
shall be paid such allowances as are prescribed.

(4) Any additional remuneration payable to the President under sub-section (1)
forms part of his salary as a Judge for the purposes of the Judges' Pensions
Act 1968-1973.

(5) The Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973 does not apply in relation to the
presidential members.
